BANDERA: Did you know that Texas Monthly listed Bandera as one of the top 10 Music Destinations cities in Texas? Did you know Bandera is home now, or has been home in the past to many well known performers such as Willie Nelson? Bandera’s claim to fame is not just the Cowboy Capital of the World. Our secret identity is the great music scene. Well, we know there are some great singers in Bandera…..maybe even one that has not yet been discovered – a hidden “Bandera Idol” if you will. And Bandera Business Association decided it would be fun to try and find that Idol! The BBA will do just that at the 6th annual “Bandera Idol” competition to be held at the 14th annual RiverFest scheduled for June 30th 2012.

So, how do you enter? Applications for Bandera Idol are available at the following locations: The Bandera Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, or Gingerbread House . Get your application in early! You could be the 2012 BANDERA IDOL!
